Acceptable Use Policy

This Policy protects recipients, customer deliverability, and shared infrastructure by defining the messages and account activity Hivsy allows.

Effective

You are responsible for everyone who sends through your account, including team members, customers, contractors, applications, and end users.

1. Send wanted, lawful email

  • Send marketing email only to recipients who gave valid, specific permission or where another lawful basis clearly permits the message.
  • Do not use purchased, rented, scraped, harvested, appended, or third-party lists that lack documented permission for your organization.
  • Keep reasonable evidence of consent and provide it to Hivsy when investigating a complaint or compliance issue.
  • Use accurate From, To, Reply-To, routing, domain, and subject information. Do not impersonate another person or organization.
  • Clearly identify commercial messages where required and include your valid business name and physical postal address.
  • Include a clear, working, easy-to-use unsubscribe mechanism in marketing messages and honor requests promptly and within the period required by law.
  • Do not send to a person who opted out, complained, or appears on an applicable suppression list unless the message is legally permitted and strictly transactional.

2. Prohibited content and activity

You may not use Hivsy to create, transmit, promote, facilitate, or solicit content or activity that:

  • Is illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, infringing, or violates privacy, publicity, consumer, intellectual-property, or other rights.
  • Contains phishing, credential theft, malware, ransomware, malicious code, harmful redirects, or instructions intended to compromise systems or people.
  • Promotes child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate material, human trafficking, or credible threats of violence.
  • Harasses, intimidates, discriminates against, stalks, or exposes private information about another person.
  • Promotes illegal goods or services, unlawful controlled substances, counterfeit documents, weapons transactions prohibited by law, or evasion of sanctions or export controls.
  • Uses materially deceptive financial claims, pyramid or get-rich-quick schemes, predatory lending, fraudulent fundraising, or deceptive investment or cryptocurrency promotions.
  • Facilitates unlawful gambling, unlicensed pharmaceutical sales, list brokerage, follower or engagement manipulation, or any activity with comparable fraud, safety, or deliverability risk.
  • Could reasonably damage Hivsy’s sending reputation, network standing, security, or ability to serve other customers.

3. Prohibited account and platform use

  • Do not create multiple accounts, identities, domains, or payment methods to evade limits, enforcement, reviews, or charges.
  • Do not probe, scan, reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or attempt unauthorized access to Hivsy or another system, except under a written security-testing authorization.
  • Do not share or resell account access, API credentials, sending capacity, or IP reputation except through a Hivsy program that expressly allows it.
  • Do not use open relays, forged identities, unauthorized domains, compromised accounts, or credentials obtained from another party.
  • Do not use inbound email, attachments, templates, links, or webhooks to distribute harmful content or to collect personal data unlawfully.
  • Do not interfere with unsubscribe, bounce, complaint, suppression, authentication, rate-limit, tracking-choice, or abuse-prevention mechanisms.

4. List and deliverability practices

  • Use confirmed opt-in where appropriate, set accurate expectations at collection, and avoid pre-checked consent for marketing.
  • Remove invalid and persistently bouncing addresses, monitor complaints, and pause campaigns when reputation signals deteriorate.
  • Authenticate sending domains and maintain accurate SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and related DNS records appropriate to your use.
  • Separate transactional and marketing traffic when needed, warm sending patterns responsibly, and avoid sudden traffic that is inconsistent with your established use.
  • Protect contact lists and API keys, limit access to authorized people, and rotate exposed credentials promptly.

5. Monitoring and enforcement

Hivsy may use automated and manual signals—including bounces, blocks, complaints, trap indicators, unusual traffic, account relationships, message metadata, and content review where reasonably necessary—to detect violations and protect the Services.

Depending on severity and risk, Hivsy may warn you, request evidence or remediation, limit or pause sending, reject messages, disable a feature, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve relevant records, or report unlawful activity. Severe, repeated, deceptive, or security-sensitive violations may result in immediate action without notice. Hivsy may withhold refunds for use that violates this Policy to the extent permitted by law.

6. Reporting abuse

Report spam, phishing, malware, unlawful content, or another suspected violation to abuse@hivsy.com. Include relevant headers, message identifiers, URLs, timestamps, and a concise explanation. Do not include passwords, API keys, or unrelated personal data.
